Over the years, JH Engine has established a standard operating procedure for every disassembly processes, machining cycle, cleaning process and assembly procedure. These standard procedures ensure that every build meets our stringent standards of quality and performance.
It is a well known fact that the lack of cleanliness causes the majority of engine failures. The JH Engine cleaning department utilizes a method of degreasing, baking iron, shot blasting iron, soda media blasting, high temperature rinsing and state of the art ultrasonic cleaning equipment to ensure the absolute highest quality for the most demanding applications.
Demanding applications require tolerances to be held within .0001″. Utilizing a space-age filtered climate control system, the facility remains within .5 deg year round. Honing is completed in 1 of 4 honing stations; each equipped with diamond and various media abrasives and utilizing specifically designed fluids to achieve surface finishes down to specific Ra Rpk & Rz finishes every time.
During assembly, every detail is cataloged in a database providing the specifications required for future re-builds of your engines. These specifications can also be provided to a qualified tuner so your tune may be properly modified to provide either additional power or lasting durability.
